Autograph...& Anupam Roy.....

Autograph is the name of a recent Bengali movie which released on Saptami i.e 14th October, 2010...Watched the movie on the first day itself in South City, evening show..Loved the movie though as well as the songs...All the songs were just awesome...

There's a particular song by Anupam Roy named "aamake amar moto thakte dao"; the lyrics of the songs matches perfectly with my life...I still haven't managed to reassemble my disordered life after..............................Ami ekhono nijeke nijer moto guchiye nite parini je...Cheshta korchi, janina kotodur ei cheshta-e shafolyo pabo but cheshta korei jachi.....Amar jibon emniteo noshto, seta sob na peyeo.....

The day I went to see this particular movie Autograph, I had seen a saying by Mother Teresa--"A person who has no love in his life is much poorer than the person who has no money...."
True, very much true.............

Campussing-I

Well, it's time that our seniors are getting campussed slowly...Just now we got the news that 6 of our seniors have got placed in Coal India Limited...That's a pretty great news...Hearing that, my hopes/spirits were lifted a bit though.....Let's see what happens next year during our time....I'm just worried about what will happen...Will I be placed????I don't know....I'm trying my hard to improve my GPA, but one harsh reality that I've learnt here is that knowledge alone doesn't matter,it's the "extra" things that matter much more than intelligence,knowledge............I don't know how to imbibe those "extra" things into myself....!!!!I know I write my best in exams,I write the correct answers that are just required for the particular questions but still...????!!!!!!!

Ahhh..!!!I just don't know how to improve the situations...!!!!!God please help me...!!!!!!!!!

Time to return.......

Aaaahhhh.....It's now time for me to return to that god forsaken place again.....Why do the vacations slip away so fast whereas the next vacations seem like coming after 45.7 Ma [non-geological people~~please don't even rack out your brains pondering over what the "Ma" means, I''l help you on that..."Ma" in Geology means Million Annum, so 45.7 Ma means 45.7 million years, as you see in Geology there is no importance of a few months, or even a 1000 years...!!! One always have to speak in terms of hundreds of thousands, millions & billions of years to give more effect on Time...!!!!! :) :) :) :) ]

The puja vacations just slipped by so fast that I couldn't even meet many of my school friends whom I had to meet.. :( :( ,told them I would be meeting them in my next holidays (i.e Diwali this time..)... I just had a wonderful time this puja as I had been truly happy after a long time...I don't remember when was the last time I had laughed my heart out, because I did that this puja....

It's only my 3rd semester and still 2 more semesters to go...!!!!!!!!Boo hoo.. :( :( :( :( But I have slowly started liking ISM--maybe because of my room mates cum juniors cum "friends" or maybe I'm slowly being taught to learn to adjust..............................................

The Agomon & the bisorjon.........

Ma Durga has now left for her home in the Kashi's & once again that festive mood, that excitement has come to an end, as always...  :( :( Those 4 days of pandal hopping (rather we have started celebrating from Panchami only !!!!) even in the disgusting traffic jam, unbearable heat, dust, all sweaty..!!!!!! It infuses a new, completely different enthusiasm in all of us....
By the way, this time Lord Indra had "blessed" us with some of his thunder, lightening & rain.....Still, it couldn't dampen our spirit to go out pandal hopping, having phuchkas, standing in the queue for hours to see "theme based" Durga Thakur..... :) :) :) :) :) :)
Thus, now comes the wait for next year's Durga Puja when Ma Durga will be coming along with her children again, vanquishing the Evil.... ;) ;) ;)

Durga Puja..........

The first appearance of "kaash phool" itself makes many a heart of the "Bengali to the core of the heart" people flutter....Durga Puja being the biggest festival of the Bengalis, we all eagerly wait for Ma Durga to come along with her children & to unite everyone of us to equally enjoy the festive season, forgetting all limitations...!!!!

I wish I was in Kolkata, especially during this time where all the other Bengalis are busy shopping to their hearts' desire & emptying their pockets..!!!!!!!! Aaahhhhh..!!!!!!!!!!! How much I miss my Kolkata this time...!!!!!!!
