A phoenix, always resurrecting after broiling in an inferno, Don Quixote, casual shutterbug, slothful blogger, nyctophilic, candidly irascible, casual shutterbug , passionate about Kathak (though not in touch with it for more than 15 years), music enthusiast, sleepyhead, accidental geologist with a cynical approach towards the world, realized it the harsh way not to take things on face value and too seriously. The saying "time is the best healer" is actually true- experienced it already.
Born in Kolkata in a middle class family, I have seen the atrocities of life from a very embryonic stage. My family have strived to make both ends meet with the help of the meagre financial support we had. Throughout my life till now, I have always learnt all the lessons in a very austere way. People may find me apathetic and impassive now, but that is all culminating from my life experiences.

Studied Geology by mischance, treading on an irrevocable path as the subject is not at all pragmatic to pursue in India. I would have reached the zenith of my career (perhaps??, okay it's an overstatement but still) if I was audacious enough to take the plunge and leave for greener pastures. But the bourgeoisie is always disinclined to plummet into the opaque.
